TASK DESCRIPTION:
You will submit a typed document essay on the following topic:
To what extent was China affected by contact with European powers
between 1750 and 1918?
You must refer to historical sources in your essay.
You may also submit a source sheet (one-sided A4 page of the sources you will be referring to in your essay) with
your essay.
The word count of your essay should be approximately 800-1000 words but should not exceed 1000 words.
The type and nature of the chosen sources along with the essay structure has been discussed in class leading up
to the assessment period. will be submitted to your Google Classroom Assignment tab by no later
than 3:15pm Friday 27 March 2020.
