Part 1 :Discussion: Create Your Own Civilization Draft
For this assignment you will synthesize key elements of civilization by creating your own civilization.
Your task is to:
1. Fill out the presentation outline provided below to answer questions about your civilization.
2. Review a peer’s presentation outline to provide feedback and ideas for improvement.
Note: This is a link that will allow you to copy the Google Document. Click 'Make a copy' and the outline will be copied into your Google Docs.
Instructions:
A. Review Lesson 2.5 – Create Your Own Civilization. This shows you the process of how to create your own civilization. Remember, this is a made-up place and YOU get to pick how your civilization functions and looks. This chart will be used as a rough draft for a presentation you will be creating later, in Activity 2.5.2 – Final Presentation with Video.
B. Fill out the outline provided here if you have not done so already:
You can also choose to create your own outline but make sure that you include all of the elements of civilization listed in the example.
C. Once you finish the outline, turn it in as a discussion post so that other classmates can see your awesomeness and suggest any improvements.
D. You must comment on a minimum of ONE other student's civilization. With your comment, you are expected to provide feedback in a positive and respectful manner. For example:

Part 2 :FINAL Presentation with Audio: Create Your Own Civilization
Your task is to:
1. Create a presentation that explains the key elements of your civilization
2. Record audio of yourself presenting and narrating your civilization.
Instructions:
A. Create a presentation of your civilization using the information from the outline you created in Activity 2.5.1. – Civilization Builder Draft Discussion. Your presentation must have a minimum of 11 slides, 7 images and follow this format:
B. Record audio of yourself presenting your information. You are not being graded on the quality of your audio but keep in mind that if you turn in the presentation without audio you will lose points.
There are two ways you can record audio and turn in your assignment.
1)You can either record directly into the presentation, or
2) you can submit two separate files. One file would be a presentation and the second file would be your audio.
