Motor Development

1. Provide an example (other than stair climbing or swinging a racket) in which an environment scaled for adults does not afford an infant or child much smaller in size to do the same behaviors as adults.  Discuss your example.

2. Describe all changes in all body systems that might lead to a higher frequency of falls in older adults.  Discuss all of these systems. 

3. Teachers and activity leaders might suspect a child or older adult has an uncorrected visual problem if the individual demonstrates any of four symptoms. List and discuss (explain) three of the four symptoms.
