Given what you have read about testing and its legal ramifications for education, your task this week is to debate the use of projective tests. Specifically, you will argue either for or against using these types of tests. Be sure to address the following questions in your argument:
What steps would should be taken to ensure evaluation of a school-age member is appropriate? What issues are important for evaluating a child with a learning disability? What particular test or tests would be or would not be ideal for testing children (provide an example)? Why or why not?
The measurement of personality assumes that humans possess characteristics or traits that are stable across situations, vary from individual to individual, and can be measured. Discuss these assertions and your agreement or disagreement.
Discuss the concept of the projective hypothesis and explore examples of projection in situations other than formal psychological testing. Argue for or against the usage of projective tests.
Be sure to support your analysis with at least three scholarly resources.
Length: 3-6 pages
Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
